We are delighted to participate, for the first time, in the internship programmes of Wits Business School’s Postgraduate Diploma in Management, and Gordon Institute of Business Science’s Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration.
Tshilidzi Mahashe and Emma Last have joined us from Wits and GIBS respectively as a part of their two-month immersion. This internship provides an opportunity for candidates to cast their management and business learnings against actual business problems. Moreover, being a relatively small firm, we have been able to establish a safe COVID bubble, and thus have been able to offer our interns an immersive, in-office experience, rather than conducting the internship entirely online.
Since July, Tshilidzi has worked on developing a proposal for a market entry study (which was for a company in the Electric Vehicles industry), and on a strategic due diligence (for a large European PE fund in pursuit of an acquisition in the Pharmaceutical API space). Both Tshilidzi and Emma are currently working on a project to define a new logistics strategy for a large consumer goods company.
We hope the program will help both our interns acquaint themselves with the management consulting field and gain valuable hands-on work experience while growing their confidence.
